Tonight I read Matthew 23. Holy cow!

Jesus is a radical. He doesn't want surface, shallow, politically expedient religion. He wants sincerity. He wants people who will genuinely open their hearts to Him.

Prayer:

Dear Jesus,

Make me "real"
forgive me when I take You out and put You on for a show, instead of being like You.
Create in me a pure heart, oh God
and renew a right spirit within me (PS 51)
